Can I replace a 2000 Cadillac Seville STS engine, front wheel drive with a 1995 Cadillac Seville STS rear wheel drive engine

I have a 2000 Cadilliac Seville STS front wheel drive and the engine is done, I purchased
a 1995 Cadilliac Seville STS rear wheel drive 116,000 miles.  Can I replace the engine
with the 1995 engine. Thanks

nope , front wheel drive have a diffrent transmission or transaxle mounting on motor as well as motor mounts brackets ect


Tholt3 is right, other than both cars saying Cadillac that is about all that the two have in common.


All Seville's have been front wheel drive since 1980
