2001 Cadillac fuel problems

I relaced fuel pump and car starts runs for 2 to 5 seconds then dies  
Something near air intake A fan noise is noticed kinda whinning noise and
regulator is creating sound  I tried stopping fuel from returning but same
senerio  Please help N Thanks

There may be 2 relays for the fuel pump . one primes the system to start the other is for running , your experience may differ . Check for proper grounds at fuel pump .

" Car starts runs for 2 to 5 seconds then dies"...? ChecK these possible causes and special diagnostic tools required: Restricted Exhaust System/faulty Catalytic converter. Insufficient Fuel pressure at rail/injectors. Electrical connections loose/Malfunctioning at Ignition System. NEG Battery Connection/Cable to engine loose/corroded/faulty. Throttle body, Intake manifold gasket vacuum leak. Thanks.
