Asked by Gunnz905 Mar 08, 2020 at 06:29 PM about the 2002 Cadillac DeVille DTS Sedan FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My DTS overheats while I'm driving but not when in park and
idle. Replaced thermostat, upper radiator hose, and coolant
reservoir and cap.. Only thing left is water pump but I have no
leaks???

In addition to what has already been done or suggested, the cause may be a radiator with low flow due to internal blockage. If the radiator is not allowing coolant to flow freely, heat will build up and cause this problem to appear more at road temp rather than idle temp.
