While there are a number of reasons for this code, from personal experience I always check the throttle control and clean the mechanical parts using carburetor cleaner spray. To clean the electric control sensor, I use electric part cleaner spray that dries fast. The throttle body control is located on the intake manifold and you need to remove the hose(s) attached to the front to access the throttle mechanism. If you want to, try this, it may help.
