99 bmw 528i. i have a bad oil leak under the intake manifold. im not sure why would leak in this area but im sure its coming from under the intake, please help.

bad oil leak coming from under the intake. cleaned the area many times and after about a
day oil streams from under it,  any idea what could cause this.

Valve cover gasket is dry and brittle replace it.....http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KiaZUptEg1A ....the person on the video is calling it a head gasket incorrectly. With BMW's there are common issues that happen every two years...Oil Filter stand Gasket...Valve cover gasket, and oil pan gasket. You need to understand that when oil touches rubber.. it destroys it over time. Also these cars have constant issues with oil vanos lines as well, and high pressure power steering hoses.
