Asked by GuruCKDN2 Feb 27, 2019 at 01:54 AM about the 2005 Ford Freestar SEL

Question type: General

I only have one wheel driving the car ( passenger).. Should there be some kind
of auto lock when one wheel spins? I have a one wheel drive, not fun on snow.

Some Freestars are AWD but yours must be FWD only. Some vehicles have traction control that prevents excessive wheel spin. Good Winter tires help, but if your really want to drive in a snowy climate with confidence, nothing beats AWD/4x4.
