I have a 2013 Chevy Traverse never had much problems at all with it. I drove it today and it shut off with an issue with the battery, I knew right away that it was the alternator. I had it checked out and it is the alternator, I purchased a new one. With the very cold temperature and me being on my way home from the doctor already, I plan on doing this tomorrow morning, my problem is that its parked in a parking lot. Do I need to take the passenger side tire off , and the wheel well as to better be able to get to the alternator and the tension pulley? 2 Answers

My check engine light came on and I ran the diagnostic. The following code is what it shows P0496 evaporative emission system high purge flow. Can I fix this myself?

I got ready for work as usual -remote started the car (7 degrees) dropped kids off then went to work. All good no problems. 10hrs. Later remote started 2011 traverse or so I thought. Went out to leave and auto not running . Didn't think much of it and started it and check engine light was on and remote start won't work.
