My oil pressure gradually drops. I turn off the engine and the pressure on the gauge goes back up then gradually drops again. No ticking in the engine. What could it be?

Most likely the sender, you could install a manual gauge temporally just to make sure.

tennisshoes is probably correct. The sensor/sendor is know to go out. It's unusual to have it go out in 5 years, but is can. If you can hook another gauge up, and you get the same readings, try to change out the sensor/sendor and that should fix it. You do have enough oil in the engine?
