I noticed a $300.00 gift card if I paid the online purchase price, which i did. I asked the dealer about it, they told me ask CarGurus. Are they trying to scam me for $300?

You can contact CarGurus at the bottom of the page. AFAIK CarGurus has nothing to do with any sales, they're just a listing site. This sounds more like a dealership used a promo to attract your business and now doesn't want to honor it. Hopefully you have a copy of the ad and take the dealer to task for it.

Thats what i thought. I do have a copy of the ad.I have contacted them, lets see what happens. Thank You Mark for your answer.
What it really comes down to is the buyer's agreement, if the gift card is not included in that, then good luck getting the shysters to honor it.
Get it in writing as part of the deal or kiss your $300 bye bye.
