Ford Focus Stalling

This is the third time I've had this type of problem
with my car. When it's going at a constant speed
like on the freeway it's fine, but when I slow down
and I take my foot of the gas like I'm coming to a
red light or a stop sign most of the time it'll stall and
all my lights on my dashboard will come on. Last
time the issue was that there was a cracked pipe
and they fixed it and checked the mass airflow
sensor and said it was fine. It's been about 6
months since then and this just began to happen
again. Has anyone had these issues or know what it
could be?

Have the DTC (trouble codes) read, as it may be setting one or more, that will give you a big lead on what is happening. You may have a bad IAC (idle air control) valve, which provides air to an engine when idling or at a stop. If you have a vacuum leak, sometimes you can hear or even feel it, inspect around the throttle body for one.
I had similar issue and had multiple problems. First the IAC was bad. I quick test is to remove it and see if you can blow air through one of the holes. If you can it is not sealing, you need another one. They should be air tight. I compared it with new one from auto zone. Second, PVC hose under intake manifold had a hole. Replace this. Third one is vacuum lines in intake manifold and fuel pressure sensor were snug there, but a little loose on other end. I had to replace them with 1 size smaller. Blow into vacuum line, if not air tight, then this will also cause that issue. Intake vacuum when down from 3/8 to 5/32. Fuel rail from down to 3/8. Car has not stalled any more.
It could also most definitely be in the throttle positioning sensor parentheses (TPS)As your car is not allowing it self enough fuel for proper combustion it will eventually spider and die
My advice is go to your bosses and tell them you cant do the job any more because your car is untrustworthy it always has trouble,' if they say why, tell them because there is no Quality control any more, and most if not all cars are rubbish. But of course the dealer they still take your good money for them. I think I will retire sell my dumb arse car and have more money on the dole because I don't have to pay for car repairs petrol etc. , sound good.
I have a 2008 Ford Focus drove it to Michigan 2 weeks ago it drove fine now my check engine light is on and it is Putting.My friend said he think I need a tune up because his tuck is doing the same thing and he also has a Ford .
Try burpin the gas tank, "unscrew the gas cap and release built up pressure. It may be a quick fix but when in a jam it may help get you home

Regina how can someone do a tune up ? These cars have computers that "tune" themselves.... cars haven't required tune up since carburetors....

Haha just let your plugs foul once there bad dispose the car and get a new one… no it’s called a tune up. It’s not like it’s a 2018 or newer. The 08 models still can be tuned up and don’t require dealership to change spark plugs. Joker you are a joker
