Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Random times... Day or night... Hot or cold (I Live in Las Vegas, Nevada), Nights gets to mid 40's (f) daytime highs lately low to mid 70's (f)
The car alarm goes off at random with nobody and/or nothing near the vehicle. Needless to say, my neighbors are very unhappy with me right now.
I'm a retired Air Force jet mech and I'm pretty handy with tools and ohm/volt meters. Any troubleshooting tips?

P.S. I've already changed both key fob batteries, disconnected and reconnected the car battery and hit the reset button on the alarm ... No Help.

Check your owner's manual and see if there's a sensitively setting for the alarm. If you don't have the owner's manual visit the website "just give me the damn manual". If your manual is available it's a free download. Hope that helps! Jim

Thanks, Jim, but it's a 2010...(LOL). No sensitivity setting. also there are no "Door Ajar" warnings either... but I sprayed all the latches on all of the doors and lift gate anyway, just to tick that off my list.
