2009 vw cc sport...

Asked by Shayne1391 Jul 14, 2017 at 02:40 PM about the 2009 Volkswagen CC 2.0T Sport FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I drove my 09 cc to a funeral.  Ran just fine on the
way. Afterwards, I cranked the car and it was
missing very bad with no power. Shut the car off
and never cranked again. I changed the coil packs.
Made no difference. Car spins but not firing. Does
anyone have a clue?

Have the cyl compression checked...It may have skipped teeth on timing chain, low compression if damage done to valves..check codes

disconnect the throttle harness. There is also 2 other connects around it. Just disconnect all 3 of them for a minute and then reconnect them. I had the same issues, I got a code for to replace manifold, 2 weeks later same issue, the next code was throttle body. I disconnected the 3 connectors, and reconnected them and have not had an issue going on 2 months

Seems like some of theses issues with vw arnt mechanical but faulty sensers maybe the culpret. Its hard to trust anyone anywhere anymore. Tag ya for a couple thousand mechanical repair and throw in a senser for good measure. Allways demand the old parts back. Lol
