On my 2009 F150 Supercrew, the drivers side back door electrical lock does not work. Is this the actuator? If so this part looks like one that has to be ordered. Is there an alternative to ordering a new actuator?
If all the other locks function with the drivers side touch pad then the problem is in that particular door. Before you begin ordering parts check first. Check for voltage at the connection when the button is pushed. If it is there then the problem is with the actuator. Oftentimes crud gets all jammed up in there causing the problem. I have fixed this problem sometimes by blowing out the area with compressed air. If that didn't work I flooded the mechanism with WD 40, it could be simply stuck.
