It's for a 2008 but it should be close to the same. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YVECt015yXc

HOW TO REMOVE THE INNER DOOR PANEL: DODGE NITRO Tricky...but simple and surprising. Once you have removed everything else and the inner door panel removal is completely puzzling you; proceed to remove the exterior door handle and then and you will see that the inner door panel will thereby also be released. It looks like you will have to cut that panel in half to remove it...which I did (deciding that I would just have to glue it back together). This is how I learned as the answer was not be found on-line. Now remove that door handle before you cut that door panel in half. JMP
