2005 Ford Escape intermittent AC issues

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

AC works for about 5 minutes then nothing but ambient or
warm fan.  The system is charged, and I am currently
looking for the location of the ac temp sensor.  Any help is
appreciated.

Is the A.C clutch still engaged when the cooling stops ? If not maybe low on freon if still engaged sounds like a bad expansion valve.
