can i bypass ac compressor with shorter belt

You can buy an AC compressor bypass pulley at any auto parts store, that way you can keep the stock serpentine belt. (FTR I don't think a shorter belt for bypassing pulleys even exists, and if you use an incorrect size belt it can fall off and cause way more trouble than it's worth.

On my 2006 v6 escape, I measured the bypass belt length at 80.5 inches. Part number at O'Reilly is K060806, and it seems to be working well.

My air conditioner pump broke bolts would this work for it n what route did u run belt

There's your fix, it's a 41 inch. I just put it on my 2009 Ford escape 3.0 two wheel drive.. not sure as far as long-term, but if it breaks I'll put another one on and update my post. But it sounds really good right now, and there's no warning lights flashing.

My ac compressor on my 2011 ford escape is seized. it burnt off my belt. I purchased a new belt, however i was wondering if there is a way to bypass the ac compressor with a shorter belt or something as i dont have the $$ to buy the new compressor at this time.
