Why is my car stalling when I crank it after I get gas?

I have to push on the gas pedal and turn
over the ignition several times before it will
actually crank.

before it cranks or before it starts

It is taking several tries before it will crank, I have to push on the gas pedal several times, and it will seem like it's trying to crank, and then it will die (cut off). But it's only when I put gas in the car.

i would have the fuel pump pressure checked

Check the fuel filter might be clogged
