08 5.4 3v. Replaced plugs fuel pump and fpdm and sensor on fuel rail
Replaced everything I can think of and the truck
after running won't start by itself l.j d. Can hear
duel pump run 2 seconds when the key is turned
on. Spray starting g fuel and the truck starts.
Found fuel pump driver module corrode after
replacing g the the fuel pump. Had on other
person work on this truck and they put a ground on
fuel pump harness.i am wondering if they blew
something else up. Thanks.
Note the diagram, not sure what testing you have done as far as voltage and ground circuits? See the fuse above fuel pump relay, I believe it should be hot all the time, not only check the fuse, check for voltage at fuse. On the control side of relay in diagram, terminals 85 and 86, pull the relay, use test light between those two cavities, engine cranking, the test light should come on, if it doesn't have to check voltage and ground for the control side. See the inertia switch, check that also. Have you checked for applicable trouble codes, I saw several codes for fuel pump system, p0 and p1 codes, check codes.
