Fuel pump son't turn on

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2006 F150 4.6. It died on me a few months ago in the driveway. I
checked for spark and it was good. I turned the key on to prime the fuel
pump, but it didn't turn on. I replaced the fuel pump and it still didn't run. I
replaced the driver module also with no result. I did check the inertia switch
and it was good. 12v in the on position to both wires. I have a new battery. I
checked all the fuses and relays and they were good. I checked for power to
the fpdm and I'm getting 12v there. The chassis ground is good. There is
continuity between the main ground of the fpdm and the chassis. I checked
for voltage at the fpdm ground with the key on and got nothing. Tried hooking
up a code reader but it won't link. Any ideas?

I finally figured out the problem. I pulled off the bed and found a ground short to the fuel pump. Now the fuel rail is getting pressure but still won't start. Tried starting fluid. no help. Checked spark on 4 cylinders and it's strong at 30kV. Checked injectors and Ohm reading is good and even all across. Getting good voltage and ground to all. Pulsing with a test light. No schrader valve, so I can't check for fuel pressure, but when I disconnect the line going to the fuel rail it sprays gas. I know, not the safest or smartest way to check. Camshaft position sensor is good. Crankshaft position sensor is good. Could it be a fuel pressure sensor? And if so, how do I test that without a schrader valve?
