How much can my 3.7 litre v6 dodge ram engine take??? Would like to rebuild
and bore out if possible without having to change gearing ratios, etc..................

A machinist would know. Typically you do not want to overbore more than 0.030 for a first rebuild. Less is better. Some engines cannot be bored due to cylinder coatings etc but I do not know if yours is one of those. There are 3.7 rebuilt engines available which may be a cost effective way to go.

What is the purpose of the rebuild? Is the engine shot or do you just wanna boost the ponies at the crankshaft? It's usually cheaper n easier to regear the diff, than rebuild an engine. A good quality engine rebuild is muy expensivo...usually 3-5 grand, especially involving overbore.
