Alignment issues after replacement of transmission.

Asked by Jun 17, 2016 at 02:16 PM about the 2008 Ford Edge SEL AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Any reason that the alignment would be off after
transmission was replaced?

The engine cradle that also supports the suspension had to be removed to replace the transmission. If it didn't get aligned perfectly when reinstalled the alignment will be a little off. This is normal and any good alignment tech can fix this with minor adjustments.

Thanks so much. I will return it to the dealership for correction.
