2008 Ford Focus Ignition Replacement

I have a 2008 Ford Focus and my one and
only key got completely damaged and lost
to where I had only a half of a key and in the
half that I did have the chip wasn't in so
mine part of the key was useless so I went
to a junk yard where I got and ignition and
key and the other piece not sure what it's
called except it goes to the chip as well so
anyways I did all that and changed it out and
still no start it doesn't even crank please
someone help me this is my only
transportation i have at all period and I'm a
single mother and we already have this Virus
putting a damper on everything like jobs and
etc now my car my one and only means of
transportation is messed up and I don't have
no money I am doing these jobs all by
myself with the help of google and you tube
so please someone out there help me and
please dumb it down for me as well cause i
DO NOT KNOW THE CORRECT TERMS OF
ANYTHING SO LIKE I SAID PLZ DUMB IT
