Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I smell eggs when I am driving my car. I used to get 427 miles to empty when I fill up now I get 350. It sometimes has a slight jerk when driving. My check engine light came on so I got an oil change and a day later it went off. What kind of home remedies can I do instead of replacing the catalytic converter?
