I have a 2008 Saturn vue and the steering is super tight when turning or using my brakes. What could be the problem. Fluids are good just wondering if it's the steering pump or something else?

Make sure the belt is tight ... Take a sample of the fluid and check it for metal shavings or debris. Pump may be shot
