Location of blend door actuator for floor/ defrost

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Replace 2 actuators already. On driver's side there
is 1 actuator opposite the passenger side one thru
glove box another.(REPLACED)
I found a slotted white knob that when switched or
turned with screwdriver...SWITCHES to defrost on
dash. There is NO BOX THERE!
Is one supposed to go OVER that piece? Is there
another spot where there is one HIGHER in dash on
driver's side? Please help. Thank you!

I think the motor is on the other side of this assembly...
