Chevy 2500 front diff problem?
I have a 2007.5 Duramax 2500 pick up truck. The truck
runs fine in 2WD, like nothing is wrong. but as soon as I
put it in 4H/L, The front wheels lock while the back spin.
and when I say lock, I mean they will not go forward. It's
like the truck has an E break for the front tires when it's in
4H/L. It will not budge. When I turn the electronic knob to
a specific drive setting, I hear everything engage properly,
but when it's to 4wd, as I said, the truck won't budge. If it
does, it grinds and sounds awful. I don't even use 4wd on
it that much. What could it be?
