2007 Chevy Silverado z71

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Driving all day one Saturday and right when I got
home the truck died,  it wouldn't turn over for
nothing let it sit for about 30 minutes and the
ignition switch got stuck so it sat there turning
over I can turn the key off and it would stop.  I done
this for awhile.  First though it was the fuel filter
come to find out the year model truck I have
doesn't have a fuel filter so we replaced the fuel
pump.  After we replaced it I go to prime it and
after the their try I tried to turn it over first time I
thought I fixed it.  Well after a nice little ride I cut
the truck off and tried to crank it and nothing.  So
now when I try to crank it , it takes like 12 times to
crank the dang truck.  It's been doing this ever
since it died in the drive way.  Start is good I know
what a broke starter or a non starter sounds like.  I
really need help on this.
I figure it might be the fuel regulatory or the master
air flow sensor I don't really what I would like some
help before I drop big dollars in this try.

This 2007 Chevy is the newer body styles

See if you replace the ignition module and be sure to check the spark plug modules too. If the ign module is bad or intermittent then that's it.
