I have a no power issue

I have a 1993 Acura legend when I first bought it it
would only start off of starting fluid but keep
running fine however when you drive it it will shut
down you can spray starting fluid in it will start
right back up run fine till you start driving it here
recently I encountered a new problem I have no
power no dash lights cigarette lighter works
headlights come on but no power whatsoever

my 94 acura legend is at a mechanic shop and they say i don't have compression in at least 3 to 4 cylinders and say i need a new motor ... does this sound right? symptoms cranking with no start 1 Answer

they say i have oil in 3cylinders and compression about 50% in 3 to 4 cylinders that he checked. they say i need a new motor. do i need a new motor or should i replace the seal or rings

I blew my head gaskets last week on my 92 Legend. I used blue Devils pour-n-go sealant til I get my head gaskets replaced. The sealant helped my situation for the time being. 2 Answers
