Wrench light came on

Asked by Barbs2dogs Dec 08, 2016 at 05:59 PM about the 2008 Ford Escape Limited AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I know it is a powertrain problem.  I have 105000
miles on it.  Should I trade it in or fix it?

Have the code scanned, see what the issue is, if it a 100 sensor I say keep it going, if its a 1000 job, ditch it and start fresh

Fix it if you like it. Likely has to do with the throttle by wire system.
