2007 cobalt won’t start

Asked by RyanRasmussen Jul 19, 2020 at 08:41 PM about the 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt LS Sedan FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Changed the oil pan and battery on a 2007
cobalt filled with oil then reset oil life turned
ignition off then tried to start. The car cranks
fine but not firing, the fuel pump does run so I
assume a spark issue maybe a wire pulled

I agree. Seems a bit too coincidental that it suddenly won't start so I'd say something got pinched or pulled apart during the repair work. There's no magic solutions here though. You could scan it for trouble codes which might reveal something, but after that you'll just have to do some searching for the problem.
