Radio buttons not working

Asked by Stephenie233 Feb 14, 2019 at 04:48 AM about the 2008 Ford Escape XLT FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My radio buttons will not work.  I disconnected battery for over 8 hours and still won't work.  It's stuck on an AM station, won't turn off, no volume control, none of the other buttons work either like aux, sat, cd, etc. I replaced head unit and still won't work.  What to do?

The same thing just happened to me. 2019 Ford Escape. The only thing that works is the volume- both on the radio and steering wheel controls.

Have same issues with my Ford Escape 2010. Can’t seem to find any help on how to fix. Steering wheel controls work only to change radio stations and volume. Sync, phone menu etc all don’t work. Stereo shows only time and temperature. No power or anything else works. Any help?
