2008 jeep patriot RED LIGHTNING BOLT

Question type: General

  continues to go into lip mode.  I have replaced 2 o2 sensors, 2 camshaft
sensors, 1 crankshaft sensor , Gad pedal(throttle position sensor,  did gas
pedal reset and still not fixing the issue.   Im not trying to go to JEEP to have it
reflashed any suggestions

Ok this is a Jeep, so first off check the sensors and computer grounds, then do the relearn protocols, once that has been done then run a live data scan and see what it shows. Usually a reflash is only required if the ECM is replaced or you have totally lost main power.

Electronic Throttle Control Warning Light: What looks like a lightning bolt, this warning light signifies that there is a problem with the Electronic Throttle Control system. When you see this, you will want to safely bring your vehicle to a stop and place it in Park. If this doesn't turn the light off, you will want to have your car serviced as soon as possible.
