Will a 2007 ford crown victoria police interceptor work in my 2007 mercury grand marquis

Assuming the 4.6L was in both, yes, at least as far as the block and heads go. The alternator is different on the police model as is the ECU programming that controls it, there is a power steering pump cooler not present on the civilian model, and the transmission gearing and clutch is different. You could probably swap the block/heads without any changes, keeping all the engine driven accessories you have now, intake I'm not certain about. Check on Crownvic.net, members there can advise you.
