pulley noise

Asked by pijolley Jan 10, 2011 at 08:07 AM about the 2007 Kia Rondo LX V6

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

we hear a knocking on start ups. Oil is full. Was told my one dealer mech. that sometimes the crank pulley will e out of balance and needed to be changed. Was asked to bring it to the dealer when it happened next time it happened. Only problem is that by time we drive to the dealer,it stops. Left at dealer so they could start it cold. They told us it made no noise when started. warranty is running out shortly. Any suggestions.
