1990 Range Rover Engine Swap

Asked by samsimpsonv Feb 17, 2016 at 08:15 PM about the 1990 Land Rover Range Rover County 4WD

Question type: Car Customization

I have a 1990 Range Rover SUV that needs
a more powerful engine. I have done my
fair share of research and have found out
that a Jaguar S-Model 4.2 L V6 Twinturbo
Diesel Engine could possibly fit in this car.
Is this true? The car normally takes a Rover
3.9L V8. If not is there any mother speedy
engine that could fit?

umm, have to say from personal experience that it is tricky to buy parts for a "franken-car" so in that light GET a More powerful car or SUV...really in all that traffic you might just drive a YUGO with the speed you're goin' in these busy cities~ suggest a Dodge Challenger...dynamite performance...looks alright~ and there are parts available for this American Car~ you are starting a new chapter in this already too complex world today~
