It’s also offered in standard-wheelbase (SWB) and long-wheelbase (LWB) variants, depending on the trim selected. ## Powertrain The base engine (P360) in the 2023 Range Rover is a 355-horsepower turbocharged inline six-cylinder with a mild-hybrid system. The P400 uses a similar engine, tuned to put out 395 horsepower. The P440e is a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) version of this powertrain, using an electric motor to put out a combined 434 horsepower. The top-tier P530 powertrain features a 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 which makes 423 horsepower. The base powertrain returns fuel economy of 18 mpg city, 26 highway, and 21 combined. The V8 powertrain returns 16 mpg city, 21 highway, and 18 combined. Fuel economy estimates have not yet been stated for the plug-in hybrid, but Land Rover claims it can drive up to 48 miles on electric-only power. The PHEV also has DC fast-charging capability. The Range Rover requires premium fuel in all of its powertrains. ## Interior The 2023 Range Rover comes standard with leather upholstery, power-adjustable front and rear seats, heated front and rear seats, three-zone automatic climate control, a hands-free power liftgate, power-retractable door handles, and a panoramic sunroof. Available features include ventilated front seats, quad-zone automatic climate control, and ventilated rear seats. The SWB provides 83.5 cubic feet of cargo space while the LWB provides 92.8 cubic feet of cargo space, accessed via a standard hands-free power liftgate. ## Technology Standard tech features for the 2023 Land Rover Range Rover include a fully digital instrument panel and a 13.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Amazon Alexa. The SUV also has wireless charging, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and a 14-speaker stereo. ## Safety Standard safety tech includes automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, front and rear parking sensors, a surround-view parking monitor, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and traffic-sign recognition. Available safety tech includes a head-up display and hands-free parking assist. ## Pricing As of this writing, Land Rover lists the pricing of the 2023 Range Rover as $106,500 for the SE trim. The SE with the P440e powertrain starts at $110,500. The Autobiography trim starts at $166,000. The Range Rover SV starts at $226,500.
