Any car today can last up to 200K with decent maintenance before your replacing and engine or transmission or the body is rusted out if your in the northern states.

A 13 year old car could be good or it could have been abused and neglected. Have a mechanic check it out first.

Of course have any vehicle checked out before purchasing BUT I have a 2006 QX56, it has 280,000 and is going strong. We have not had any major problems with it since owning it. (We bought used at 60,000 from 1 owner). I am sold on Infiniti!! My daughter has a 05 G35. It is approaching 300,000. It has been a GREAT care too!! They know how to build cars!

I have a 2008 Infiniti QX56 and I've had her for 5 yrs with 188,00 on the dash and running strong. My Grandmother was the original owner so its a blessing to come across this Beautiful SUV. I'm a Infiniti fan now. My wife and kids love it also. Plan on keeping it for a long time.

I Have a 06 Qx56 210000 miles got it new in 06. Replaced the AC compressor, rear leveling pump, and the radiator. The rest was wear and tear parts. This is the best vehicle I have ever owned at 210k we still take family trips in 90 degree weather, no problems. Gonna keep it one more year then I am going to get the QX80.

Mine has 250,000+. Drivetrain has been flawless. AC still blows cold. Have just done regular oil changes, transmission service, and differentials & 4x4 drive. Just hopped in it and took it on a 1,400 mile trip this past weekend. I didn't hesitate to do it and it performed flawlessly. The bad thing about the QX is when body/electrical stuff goes bad it can get very expensive. When the headlights go, be ready - if the ballasts are the cause you are in for a $1,200 repair. The body control module on these QX's and Armadas had some issues that prevent windows from rolling down. That was a very expensive repair. The dashboard losing functionality is another common issue. As are the rear airbags (I replaced with coils). Chances are if you are looking at a high mileage vehicle (over 175,000) most of that stuff has been addressed. Otherwise, the lift gate motor has gone out on mine - I just don't use it anymore (use the rear window instead). And I had to replace the catalytic converters which were very expensive. Otherwise, been a great car for our family.
