will a 97 chevy 5.7 engine fit in a 93 chevy

Im looking to buy a new engine for my 93 ck 1500, and 1 has become available but its
from a 97 truck and i need to know if it will fit.

the heads and intake are different. 4x4 and 2wd's have different oil pans. If you use the 97 engine the heads are better than the 93 heads, you use them you need an intake that will bolt on the the "vortec" heads so you can use your factory throttle body. Or you can just use your heads and intake

I have a 1997 Chevy Suburban I would like to put the motor and transmission into my 93 Chevy Silverado and the rear end
