DavidH25...that seems a little light...not even a ton----guess 1/2 ton P/U what else? GVW is the vehicle weight plus the load...damn, I'm confused now...all I know is I carried over a TON of roofing material in my '66 C10 with a 400 impala motor~ axles bent...was complaining...but made it to the dump ok~

I thought a 1/2 ton truck was the suggested weight it will carry. A one ton is built for 2,000+ a 12 pack. That is what I was lead to believe. Farmers always put in what the motor and tranny will endure. Once in a great while, you can go over the intended weight, but not on a regular basis. Moving the family from Iowa to California, the suggested weight to carry in a 1,500 truck would be 1,500 pounds and a mother-in-law. Makes for a loooong ride I might add.

We love you Carson...don't know...porn sites are boring...Cars are easily understood...if a man put it together a man can take it apart...used to be, but now if a robot put it together a man can empty his wallet to seek replacement parts is how it is these days...everyone loves the judge (except Daniel nad Kbro) those guys will always bring their dirty bloomers for us to smell in the temple....have no regard and trounce the temple steps with the dirty shoes....thank god for that little gear button can tell them what for~

Got the hat, it is a start of a lot of conversations. Know what you mean bout the robots. Had to put a new transmission pan gasket on the old Buick. The engine had to be dropped to get to the last two bolts. Lots of work to fix a leak. Changed out the oil pan gasket also. 120K on the family Buick, most of not liked the Pikes Peak climb last July. Taking it on a 4K mile road trip this fall up to Canada, keeping on highway 1 or 101 all the way. Through Canada into Idaho and then back to So. Cal. Looking forward to it.
