The owners manual Chapter 7 Page 58 says max 7,000 lbs with manual transmission and 6,000 lbs with automatic. Also this is with factory towing package only with aux. transmission cooler and suspension system. Without factory tow package the numbers are much lower. Matter of fact I was surprised to see that much weight allowed. In my opinion you will tax your 22 year old truck far too much pulling that weight
