timing chain slipped we replaced it reset all of that . turns over but gets no
spark plugs and wires are new changed crank shaft sensor got a new battery
still no spark what else can i do

Check for a blown ignition fuse would be in fuse box under the hood.

U hav to calibrate timing on ecm. Shop does this or timing sensor bad or unhooked

May want to have the coil checked, and the ignition control module. I believe Auto Zone can check these. Also if the distributor was removed, check to see that it is not 180° out.

Does the rotor mover when you crank the engine? If it doesn't, suspect a broken cam shaft!

so the other day i moved my 1997 chevy k1500 in my driveway and put my plow on then let it run for a while. I came bacj to it about 30 mins later and it was dead. I tried to crank it but got nothing. after going over everything replacing coil icm ecm crank sensor cam sensor plugs wires complete distributer from cap to oil pump . I have spark but when it it reaches distributer i get no spark to wires. Any ideas? I have never seen this before, im at a loss, please help!! 7 Answers

My TBI 1991 305 does not fire when cranking. Until the battery starts going dead. Which is then turning over at a slow revaluation. But it's still yellow (no fire). Is it my pick up coil? Or timing? 1 Answer

Swap ECM/PCM COMPUTER. Sense I'm going to a 305. From a 350. Or just wire a knock sensor into the original ECM.
