No spark

Asked by Bigjeffrey64 Sep 04, 2018 at 08:13 PM about the 1997 Chevrolet C/K 1500 Cheyenne RWD

I ran out of gas in my truck and I filled it up
with a gas can and I went to go start it and it
wouldn't start but in the process of trying to
start it it clicked and all power went out I
went under the hood and tightened my
cables to the battery and power came on but
still no spark truck still not starting
