98 Chevy K1500 5.7 turn over but won't start.
New fuel pump, new fuel filter, tested 62 lbs at rail. New distributor cap, rotor, ignition coil, plugs, and wires. Tested electronic spark module...it passed. Put a new crankshaft position module yesterday. All plugs have spark and tested compression. Still won't start.
Could have jumped time. Bring number 1cyclendar up to top dead center. Look at roter see if pointing at # 1 on cap .
Are the fuel injectors pulsing ? Test with test light made for testing fuel injector pulse.
Bender, timing checked out OK. Firebird, will any test light work or do I have to have the fuel injector one?
You'll need a 'noid light to check for injector pulse. Run a compression test. If all cylinders test low or zero, it's jumped timing. HTH. -Jim
