there should be a screw on the plastic BEHIND the door release pull handle. unscrew that and it should be free to go. you pried out all the plastic fasteners, right?

There's a "U" shaped clip holding GM handles on. Push the plastic disc back and you can see it in there. Take a small rag and saw back and forth on the open end of the "U" to remove it.
