i want to find out why my viehicle is using so much gas

i used 3 taks of gas going to portland  and i want to no why

Check to see if your brake pads drag. After a short trip, see if one of your wheel rotors is hotter than the others. Make sure your air filter is clean. Ad a product like B12 by Chemtool to your gas tank at fill-up. You can get it at Walmart.
