2007 Dodge grand caravan troubles!
I have a dodge grand caravan and last weekend I
was taking a friend home, I noticed that my van
was driving a little funny. Like, it didn't want to get
any speed. Well, on my way back home I had
stopped at a four way intersection and my check
engine light came on, along with my oil light, my
power steering went out and my van kind of shut
off. It didn't completely die, my internal lights were
all still on, gauges still worked, but it wouldn't go. I
shut it off, waited a second and tried to turn it back
on. It started up perfectly, drove amazingly and I
was able to get home. The next day I went to go
leave and it wouldn't start. I could turn the key a
little, everything would come on, but when I tried to
start it, it just wouldn't do anything. You could hear
it wanting to start. Well, after having some people
look at it, they assumed it was my fuel filter. They
tried a code reader, but no codes came up. The
next day they changed my fuel filter and stuff, after
they got done they test drove it. It worked great
again. Later that next day, I went to go out. I
started my van, which again, started amazingly, but
after about three minutes it sputtered and died
back down. After a few tries, I can get it to start,
but it's only staying on for about 30 seconds
before dying again. I need help.
Possible failing ignition switch?
