how do you remove the interior trim in a 2006 B9 Tribeca to access the rear shock towers?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Looks like there are cup holders where the shock towers would be inside the vehicle but I am not sure how to get the cups holders out and would like to avoid destroying them. Perhaps the entire trim panel comes out instead?

Could you provide any steps to properly remove the interior trim? Scans of a tech manual? Link to somewhere online with instructions? I have been unsuccessful in finding any instructions on how to remove the trim. The shock broke off at the top and the spring started grinding on the wheel rim so it is not drive-able until I can figure out how to remove the trim and get the old shock out.
