Asked by madred Nov 23, 2015 at 05:30 PM about the 2007 Chevrolet HHR LT1
Question type: Maintenance & Repair
When I place my hhr in park it has always unlocked all door and when I remove it from park it locks all doors. It has stopped. I can still lock all doors with the switch on the drivers door or by the key remote. I have check to make sure the auto lock is still on. I also can hear a click in the shifter when I push the brake pedal.

It will need to be reprogramed, do you have your owners manual? If not it may be found on line...

I went in and check to see if it still it showed auto lock and auto unlock and it did. Still not sure what the clicking sound is down in the shifter area. I was thinking that there might be a switch that would send a signal to the auto lock that we are in park or leaving park is clicking but not sure why it clicks when I apply the brakes.
