What can i do to test to see if my idling problem is the MAP Sensor or something else

I have a 2000 Saturn with a 1.9 litre engine that was running fine! Now my idle fluctuates dramatically and the gas mileage is terrible! What can I do to check the MAP Sensor or troubleshoot the problem?

Couldn't hurt to clean it and the throttle body anyhow, it usually helps gas mileage in a vehicle as old as yours.

There's a gas sensor in the fuel tank that is probably stopped up that could be your problem . It will cost ya about 1200.00. My very
