I start my 1999 saturn sl2 and it goes to 3500 r.p.m.s and stays

what is causing my saturn to idle at 3500 r.p.m. . iI replaced the iac also the TBS
checked  vacumm lines. i unpluged map sencor , it lowered to 700 rpm and tried a new
one. rpms still at 3500.

TPS,IAC,PVC valve, Did you replace the TPS? I would say check that link joemom sent you & other than that if their are no codes I would take the throttle body off the car & clean it completely otherwise use sea foam in your gas tank & add it to the brake booster vacuum line I think not sure might be a better place to add it. Then see the results might fix the problem?
